Applying for Revenue Sharing
If you would like to monetize your Metacommons project, you can submit your project to the administrators for consideration as a Commercial Contributor.
Eligibility:
Only those with a contributor account and at least one project in good standing are eligible. If you do not have a contributor account, you may apply for one. If you have a contributor account but no project, you may create one.
Criteria for Acceptance:
Projects must be of demonstrable benefit to the Metacommons developer community. This means a project should be in the general field of digital media or the specific field of one of Metacommons key platforms, including Blu-Ray Disc and BD-J, HD-DVD and HDi, DVD-ROM, Flash, Silverlight, or a comparable emerging digital media platform.
Right of Refusal:
The administrators reserve the right to accept or reject a project for revenue sharing for any reason, at their sole discretion. For instance, it should be obvious that projects must be in compliance within the terms of use of Metacommons, and not be illegal or infringe on the intellectual property of another party. However the administrators will make every effort to ensure that reasonable and non-discriminatory criteria are consistently applied.
